Hey everybody, come see how good I look!

(the title of this post is completely due to the fact that I just watched Anchorman.....again)

Without further ado, one announcement.

I’m officially a ‘semi-pro’ thanks to an invite from Prof and company to contribute to the LasVegasVegas Business and Politics Blog. Set your bookmarks and readers.

Here is today's post.

But what does it all mean? What are the deeper implications? One can only speculate, but since that’s what I like to do here are a few.

1) It could mean that Prof has either gone completely out of his gourd and/or wishes to simply punish himself with more migraines.

2) It will mean that this space should return (at least in part) back to more “lightweight” concerns. Should.

3) it could mean that the apocalypse is indeed nigh.

Sounds like fun.

(And in case you missed it above, go ahead and set your bookmarks and readers now. No really, you might as well do it now so it’s done and you don’t have to worry about it later—you’ll thank me (and then Prof will thank you).)

Shaping Enterprises

Being on the upswing does mean that I'm starting to get assed-up at the world around me once again. For example:

Nothing to see here, just some elites getting together and having a few chuckles.

There is the reptilian lord Rupert (not to be confused with reptilian chancellor Larry Silverstein) telling the entire world in plain language that is was his goal to propagandize people in support of a political agenda rather than truth.

What struck me most about this clip is how he (and others like him, generally) seem to like using the word "enterprise" to describe the war and the misery and the suffering to which his "shaping" contributed a great deal. Just to make sure I wasn't thinking incorrectly about the word, I sought the dictionary.

Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French, from entreprendre to undertake, from entre- inter- + prendre to take -- more at PRIZE
1 : a project or undertaking that is especially difficult, complicated, or risky
2 : readiness to engage in daring or difficult action : INITIATIVE enterprise in dealing with the crisis>
3 a : a unit of economic organization or activity; especially : a business organization b : a systematic purposeful activity enterprise among these people>

Boo hoo for Rupert. He tried to make people get behind the illegal and barbarous invasion, but after many years of effort, the public dullards no longer seem to support the "enterprise" as they once did.

These wars and upheavals are just business, and business is good and looking to get better through the continued push to Iran.

As a reminder, in case anyone forgot, Rupert is Hillary Clinton's patron, soon to be the patron of Hillary/Obama (as I think it likely that it won't be too long before Obama takes a backseat and jumps on as her vice-pres nominee for the ultimate in "diversity" campaigns.)

So, the guy that supports the neocon puppet Bush in his quest for more war, debt, and desctruction, is the same guy that is in large part funding big time Dems who purport to be the ones that will "make everything better."

Do you think that one of the more powerful guys out there drastically changed his fundamental views, or could it be that the people he gets behind are the same, only wearing different idealogical costumes?

The sickly husk returns

I'm off the pills now, I swear.

Pardon my absence, but all I can say is this--for my part, pain pills, even irregular and small doses make jacks will to produce close to non-existent, and when it was existent the time was taken by other projects to be revealed shortly. However, my last dose of that unfortunately necessary poison was on Sunday and it's now Wednesday, what gives?

I caught a bit of the Avian/Ebola and have spent the last two days calling Ralph on the big white phone. I seem to be locked in a karma wherein if I have surgery I am doomed to puking repeatedly before completely healing (same thing happened during first surgery in '02, perhaps I should start a list of orthopedic surgeons that make me hoark?).

Ouch.
